VETERINARY TECHNICIANS WANTED: HELP US BUILD SOMETHING EXCEPTIONAL
Location: Gems Veterinary Urgent Care | 12073 East Arapahoe Rd., Unit 100, Centennial, CO 80112
The Gems Difference
Gems Veterinary Urgent Care isn’t your typical clinic, and we’re not looking for a typical tech. We’re a brand-new, privately owned, open-concept urgent care clinic built on transparency, compassion, and teamwork.
Think modern medicine, calm communication, and a supportive culture where your voice actually matters. If you thrive in fast-paced medicine and want room to grow, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
Why Gems? Because urgent care can be high-quality, humane, and supportive—all at the same time.
What You’ll Do
As a full-time Veterinary Technician at Gems, you’ll be part of our founding team, helping shape how urgent care is done from day one. Your role includes:
-
Triage: Quickly assessing walk-in urgent cases, vitals, pain levels, and stability.
-
Diagnostics: Performing and running in-house diagnostics and clearly communicating results to the medical team.
-
Nursing Care: Assisting with urgent procedures and providing hands-on patient care.
-
Client Communication: Guiding pet owners through stressful moments with calm, compassionate explanations of next steps and home care.
-
Clinic Flow: Supporting a fast-paced setting by keeping the team organized and efficient throughout the day.
Who We’re Looking For
-
Credentials: CVT/RVT/LVT preferred (Colorado-credentialed or eligible), but not required.
-
Experience: Urgent care or ER experience is a plus.
-
Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork.
-
Mindset: A genuine interest in professional growth and helping build something special.
Pay & Perks
-
Salary: $25–$27/hour (based on experience)
-
Professional Support: Continuing education credits & License reimbursement
-
Work-Life Balance: Paid time off
-
Extras: Uniform allowance & Employee discounts
Still Want More?
This isn’t another “dead-end tech job.” As Gems grows, so do you. We are excited to support technicians who want to step into future roles like Lead Veterinary Technician or Practice Manager. If leadership is on your vision board (even if it’s a “maybe someday”), we want to help you get there.
Ready to sparkle? If you value skill, compassion, and growth, we’d love to meet you. Apply today and help us build Gems Veterinary Urgent Care, one case at a time.
