We are seeking a skilled Welder to use MIG welding techniques to construct aluminum stud frames, walls, and roofs for enclosures. This role involves welding all secondary and supporting components, assembling and welding walls around fuel tanks, and testing welds for leaks, completing spot welds where necessary. Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure all welds meet the required specifications.
Responsibilities
- Weld aluminum stud frames, walls, and roofs using MIG welding techniques to create enclosures.
- Weld all secondary and supporting components for the enclosure.
- Weld steel tanks and assemble walls around fuel tanks.
- Test welds for leaks and perform spot welds as needed.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure all welding work meets specifications.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in MIG welding in a professional, hobby, or volunteer capacity.
- Experience in light and medium gauge fabrication.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure and performing basic math computations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to interpret shop drawings is preferred.
- AWS Certification is a plus.
- Certified Flux Core welder is advantageous.
- Technical degree or certification is preferred.

Work Environment
Work is conducted on a start-up site. There may be occasional work after shifts and on weekends as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Batesville, Mississippi.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
