Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available for the 2026–2027 school year in Wyoming, Delaware. This role focuses on providing behavioral support to students with severe disabilities and autism, ages 2 to 22, within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in crisis intervention and de-escalation as part of the crisis team
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs
- Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to set behavior goals incorporated in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support staff and students through ongoing behavioral consultation and data collection
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification is mandatory
- Proven experience working in school settings with students diagnosed with severe disabilities and autism
- Skilled in crisis management and de-escalation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to conduct FBAs and develop effective BSPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to support education teams
Location and Hours:
- Position is based in Wyoming, Delaware
- Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- On-site presence is required; remote work is not available
