Job Description
The Indiana University Foundation’s Affinity Giving Team is seeking a new Program Coordinator to support the Black Philanthropy Circle, Latino Philanthropy Circle, Queer Philanthropy Circle, and Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council. We’re looking for a true go-getter—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, embraces change, and brings both confidence and curiosity to their work. This is a donor and volunteer facing role and is ideal for a proactive coordinator who is comfortable working independently and who takes ownership of projects from start to finish. Unique to this role, priorities and workloads can fluctuate across the affinity circles, so agility, adaptability, and strong project management skills are essential to success.
You’ll play a critical role in coordinating communications, supporting volunteer leadership, partnering with internal support teams, and helping ensure every interaction reflects the high standard of excellence associated with IU. This position is also a great opportunity for someone with grantmaking or grants administration experience. You’ll have a hands-on role in the grant cycles process and Affinity Giving Grants Day, working closely with colleagues across development, marketing, annual giving, donor relations, and events. While responsibilities are clearly defined across team members, there are moments when collaboration is truly all hands-on deck, so strong collaboration skills are a must.
If you’re energized by relationship-building, motivated by mission, and excited to help shape the future of Affinity Giving at the Indiana University Foundation, we’d love to hear from you. This role offers the chance to make a visible impact, grow alongside a committed team, and support donor communities that are transforming lives across IU and beyond.
