Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, in-person school psychologist position offers an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students across an elementary school and part of a high school in Sedro Woolley, WA. The contract runs from March 23, 2026, through June 12, 2026, covering a leave of absence. Scheduled up to 35 hours per week, the role provides some flexibility around IEP meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for approximately 800 students, with about 18% qualifying for special education services
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Support both elementary and high school populations, adjusting schedules according to school day timings and meeting demands
Provide consultation and interventions to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements

Qualifications:

Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
Ability to manage diverse caseloads and maintain flexibility in a dynamic school environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff

Schedule Details:

Elementary school hours: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM (with a half-hour unpaid lunch)
High school hours: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM (with a half-hour unpaid lunch)
