Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, in-person school psychologist position offers an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students across an elementary school and part of a high school in Sedro Woolley, WA. The contract runs from March 23, 2026, through June 12, 2026, covering a leave of absence. Scheduled up to 35 hours per week, the role provides some flexibility around IEP meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for approximately 800 students, with about 18% qualifying for special education services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support both elementary and high school populations, adjusting schedules according to school day timings and meeting demands
- Provide consultation and interventions to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and maintain flexibility in a dynamic school environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
Schedule Details:
- Elementary school hours: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM (with a half-hour unpaid lunch)
- High school hours: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM (with a half-hour unpaid lunch)
- Flexibility offered based on meetings and caseload demands
