Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students in a vibrant school setting near Shawnee, KS. This full-time, contract-based assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Professionals in this role will work 37.5 hours per week, making a meaningful impact as they collaborate directly on campus.
Openings are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists with CCCs, Clinical Fellows, and SLPAs. Assignments involve providing direct services across 1-3 schools within the district, serving a diverse student population. Specific caseloads and locations will be discussed further during interviews as building needs are finalized for the upcoming year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Kansas licensure as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA
- Background in supporting K-12 students in a school environment
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple campuses
- Commitment to on-site service delivery (remote opportunities are not available)
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with varied needs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers
- Adapt interventions based on student progress and best practices in the field
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and professional standards
