Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare professional with expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures is sought for a contract role based in Fremont, CA. This opportunity involves working in a state-of-the-art cath lab setting, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient care during complex cardiac and neuro interventions.
Location
Situated in the vibrant Fremont area, this role places you within reach of major metropolitan resources while working at a facility with multiple cath lab rooms equipped with advanced imaging technologies such as GE and Philips. The workplace fosters a collaborative team environment with around 20 registered nurses and a mix of respiratory therapists, focused on balanced patient care and advanced procedural support.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist in cardiac catheterization and peripheral procedures including A-fib/Flutter, SVT, and complex neuro interventions.
- Collaborate closely with a team consisting of RNs and respiratory therapists during patient procedures.
- Utilize imaging systems including MacLab and Meditech EMR for accurate procedural documentation and patient monitoring.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during night shifts when required.
- Adhere to hospital policies, unit guidelines, and dress code requirements ensuring a professional and safe working environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Current RN license with mandatory certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
- Experience in neuro and electrophysiology procedures preferred but not required.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab setting.
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Night shift: On-call as needed
