Job Description
The Human Resource Coordinator is instrumental in driving the company’s recruitment efforts, managing hiring processes, overseeing benefits administration, and fostering positive employee relations. This individual will be an organized, proactive professional committed to maintaining efficient HR operations and contributing to a productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers.
- Work closely with department managers to identify hiring needs and ensure timely filling of vacancies.
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs and recruitment campaigns.
- Maintain candidate databases and handle all communication with applicants.
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate background checks for potential hires.
Benefits Administration
- Administer various employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness programs, and 401(k).
- Assist employees in benefits enrollment and address any benefits-related queries.
- Ensure all benefit-related policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring quick and professional resolution.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies that promote a positive work environment.
- Help coordinate and execute employee engagement programs, such as team outings, workshops, and trainings.
- Support the HR department in handling disciplinary issues and grievances in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
General HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of performance reviews.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department.
- Help organize and maintain HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in Human Resources, particularly in recruitment and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

The base salary range for this position is $25 - $35 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range in uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
