Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Olathe, KS. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting middle and high school students with speech and language needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services 2 to 2.5 days per week.
  • Work closely with a caseload of 31 students, including 10 students receiving consult-only services.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to maximize student outcomes.
  • Provide consultative support to staff and carry out evaluations in compliance with established educational guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and high school populations.
  • Strong understanding of educational collaboration and individualized education program (IEP) development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Location: Olathe, Kansas

Contract Details:

  • School calendar year contract.
  • Part-time commitment of 2 to 2.5 days per week.
