Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Templeton, California. This travel nursing assignment starts on 09/14/2026 for a 13-week duration in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations.
- Circulate for cesarean sections and participate in intraoperative support as needed.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications per protocol, perform assessments, and document care accurately.
- Educate and support patients and families, coordinating discharge planning and follow-up requirements.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate care tasks to ancillary personnel within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure patient safety, infection control, and high-quality care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule (36 hours per week)
- Competence to function in a labor and delivery unit, including circulating for C-sections
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment in Templeton, CA
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support patients, families, and the care team
