Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Superintendent to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the electrical team, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed correctly, safely, and on time. This role is crucial in the successful completion of our construction projects, particularly in Ground Up, Healthcare Construction, and Commercial Construction sectors.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing and directing the electrical team, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard.
2. Coordinating and scheduling the activities of the electrical team, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
3. Ensuring that all electrical systems are installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with the project specifications.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the successful completion of the project.
5. Identifying potential issues or delays and implementing solutions to mitigate any impact on the project timeline.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Providing regular updates and progress reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or Electrical Superintendent in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in Ground Up, Healthcare Construction, and Commercial Construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and other construction professionals.
8. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical systems or construction management would be highly advantageous.
