Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A fully remote opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher skilled in delivering services via telehealth. This contract-based role supports students in a school setting through virtual platforms designed to enhance remote instruction and engagement.
Location: Antioch, TN (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective special education instruction and interventions through telehealth methods.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring using the virtual platform.
- Collaborate with students, families, and support teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize interactive learning materials and digital tools to engage students remotely.
- Participate in virtual meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services delivered.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification/licensure in Special Education.
- Experience in providing special education services, preferably via telehealth or remote platforms.
- Strong familiarity with assessment tools and individualized instruction strategies.
- Proficient in using technology, including Zoom Pro and online instructional resources.
- Excellent communication skills to engage students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
