Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a dynamic clinic environment located in St John, Kansas. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your Med Surg or ambulatory nursing experience while contributing to high-quality healthcare services. Night shifts are not required, with a schedule primarily covering daytime hours, providing a balanced workweek.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Weekend commitment: 1-2 weekends per month
- Holiday work required
- Minimal on-call duties for occasional staff absences
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in an ambulatory clinic setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and administer treatments
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Manage patient flow during assigned shifts ensuring timely care delivery
Qualifications:
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, with Med Surg or ambulatory experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- New graduates will not be considered for this role
