Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) opportunity is available within a school setting located in Milton Freewater, OR. This contract position is set for the remainder of the current school year, with a strong possibility for renewal in the 2026/2027 school year. The role involves supporting a diverse K-12 caseload across multiple school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to students with varying physical needs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to support student mobility and functional independence
  • Collaborate with educational staff, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Adapt therapy activities to meet the unique needs of students across multiple sites and grade levels

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification applicable to the state
  • Experience working within a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively across multiple locations
