Under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Director, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will help execute the YMCA of Greensboro’s annual marketing plan, with a focus on social media and digital marketing.
The ideal candidate must have intermediate understanding of the role of social media for business. They will be an organized, self-starting individual who can communicate clearly and manage multiple projects from start to finish in a fast-moving environment. In addition, every position in the YMCA of Greensboro is responsible for carrying out our promise to strengthen the foundations of community with focus on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility while upholding our values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Assist with development of social media content calendars including idea generation.
2. Design, write, edit and post organic social media content including video and static assets.
3. Develop and manage internal social media paid campaigns.
4. Monitor and manage all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and LinkedIn.
5. Lead Digital Team meetings in collaboration with representatives from each location.
6. Write blogs that drive program and service awareness while promoting SEO.
7. Collect and report email and social media marketing data.
8. Assist with website maintenance and updates as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1) High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Expert knowledge of graphic and video editing in Canva required. Documented experience and skills with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere is an advantage.
2) Intermediate knowledge of social media, writing and digital marketing.
3) Ability to manage multiple, varied projects with complex timelines and production schedules, including follow-up and follow-through of projects.
4) Strong writing and communication skills.
5) Unwavering attention to detail.
6) Ability to work with and learn technology to advance the organization.
7) Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving and collaborative environment.
8) Certifications: CPR/AED, First Aid, Bloodborne pathogen training required after hire and must remain current.
