Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations within an outpatient infusion pharmacy. The role combines hands-on staffing responsibilities with leadership duties, ensuring smooth and efficient pharmacy services. This contract position, based in Spotsylvania, VA, offers a dynamic environment for those skilled in clinical and hospital pharmacy settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the outpatient infusion pharmacy
Staff the pharmacy by preparing and dispensing medications accurately
Ensure compliance with IV Compounding and chemotherapy protocols
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
Maintain pharmacy records and documentation
Support quality assurance and safety initiatives

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active and clear Virginia Pharmacy License
Strong expertise in IV Compounding and chemotherapy medication preparation
Clinical and hospital pharmacy background preferred
Experience with Epic pharmacy software is highly desirable
Proven leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Schedule & Location:

Typical working hours are either 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pharmacy operating hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
No on-call or weekend coverage required
Position located in Spotsylvania, VA
