Join Our Rehabilitation Leadership Team!

Aspire of Pleasant Valley is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead and support our rehabilitation program. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced therapy professional who is passionate about patient-centered care, clinical excellence, team development, and positive outcomes.

The Director of Rehabilitation will oversee daily rehabilitation operations, collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary team members, and help ensure residents receive high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the rehabilitation department and daily therapy operations.

  • Supervise, support, and mentor rehabilitation team members.

  • Coordinate therapy services to meet resident needs and facility goals.

  • Promote a collaborative, patient-centered rehabilitation environment.

  • Monitor clinical outcomes, productivity, documentation, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, social services, and facility leadership.

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding of therapy team members.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations.

  • Review documentation and support timely completion of required clinical records.

  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.

  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical programs, resident outcomes, and department performance.

  • Serve as a positive clinical leader and advocate for residents and their families.

Qualifications

  • Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Iowa.

  • Previous rehabilitation leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of therapy practices, documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with residents, families, therapy professionals, nursing staff, and facility leadership.

  • Strong commitment to quality care and positive resident outcomes.
