Seeking Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse

Seacoast Mental Health Center (SMHC) is dedicated to providing a wide range of mental health services to individuals residing in the eastern half of Rockingham County, New Hampshire. SMHC strives to enhance the well-being of individuals and families through compassionate care, innovative programs, and a commitment to excellence.
Candidate must be a registered nurse with the State of New Hampshire. CPR and First Aid training is recommended. Psychiatric Nursing experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medication support, education, monitoring, and documentation for patients.
- Coordinate patient health services, including labs, physicals, point-of-care testing, and provider communication.
- Oversee medication management and health compliance for our residential program, ensuring adherence to state regulations. Train and supervise residential staff in medication administration and documentation. Maintain medication logs, review prescriber orders, and support regulatory inspections.
- Manage medication and medical supply inventory and respond to on-site medical emergencies.
- Participate in clinical meetings, on-call coverage for our residential program, committees, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Serve as a liaison among patients, staff, prescribers, pharmacies, and community healthcare providers.
