Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Aurora area of Denver, CO, serving K-12 students across multiple schools. This position offers a contract role for the current school year, starting January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will provide essential speech and language services directly onsite, supporting students within a dynamic school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to K-12 students, managing caseloads ranging from approximately 25 to 45 students
- Participate in professional development days as scheduled during the second semester
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement treatment plans
- Backfill assignments available, including coverage of current staff absences
- Supervise Clinical Fellows (CF) in accordance with district guidelines, provided the CF has completed the necessary rotations and certification requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Completion of an 8-week school rotation for Clinical Fellows; supervision support available if applicable
- Prior school experience ranging from entry-level to advanced, with compensation aligned to years of experience (010+ years)
- Ability to work onsite exclusively; hybrid or virtual work options are not available
