To join our expanding team, IWA Homecare is looking for a Homemaking worker who is caring, motivated, and experienced. The Employment Services employee will help job seekers find work and provide support to clients after they are employed. Employee will also help clients who access support services to identify their strengths, goals and talents in view of helping them find work. May connect clients to training or educational programs to help them develop their skills. Job types include job shadowing, internships, volunteering, and career education. The job entails bending, walking, using hands, and helping clients complete tasks independently. Potential staff may work with more than one client living in their home.
Locations of services and Hours:
Dayton -15 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Case management: Perform case management and follow up with clients after job placement
- Benefits: Share information about benefits and compensation with clients
- Accommodations: Negotiate work accommodations for clients with disabilities
- Job retention: Monitor job retention to determine which recruiting efforts are successful
- Educational support: Provide educational support to employers to ensure their needs and rights are respected
- Interviewing: Conduct mock interviews and background checks to assess a client's skills, experience, and education
- Matching: Match clients with suitable job openings
- Training: Provide training to improve job-related skills
- Counseling: Provide counseling and guidance to help clients identify their strengths and goals

High School Diploma
Meet DHS qualifications
Enjoy working with others and has a great work ethic
Complete training
Pass Background Study
Have experience working within this field
Valid Driver's License
