Job DescriptionVolt is immediately hiring a QUA Technician in Maplewood. MN with a well-known industry leader.
This is a first shift position.
As a QUA Technician, you will:
- Work with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
- Works on a variety of technologies and related products, the selected individual may perform product and system design verification testing.
- Performs standard tests, inspections, and other tasks to determine specific characteristics of materials, in-process and final product samples as required to ensure quality products.
- Will operate test equipment, including multiple sterilization test vessels of different sterilization modalities, in fast-paced laboratory environment supporting design, development, and sustaining projects and tasks. May support equipment IQ/OQ/PQ, validation protocols, and control plans; along with accurately documenting results, writing reports, and other lab-related documents, and entering reports and data into controlled document system.
- Must follow established test procedures. Operate and maintain lab equipment. Complete special requests from engineers, group leaders and/or supervisor. Work independently and with Quality Assurance and development engineers / technicians.
Estimated Duration up to 24+ months.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced and knowledgeable in routine testing procedures, problem solving, products analysis, and equipment operation.
- Understanding of basic concepts of measurement systems, testing, and calibration.
- Familiarity with typical PC software applications including Excel, Word, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
