Position Title: Military Operations Analyst
Location: Fort Carson, CO (95% on-site)
Clearance Required: Top Secret (TS/SCI)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Award
Period of Performance: 07 SEP 2025 – 06 MAR 2031 (Base + Option Years)
Travel: Yes – including international travel to locations such as Japan, Hawaii, Qatar, Israel, Turkey, Germany, and Redstone Arsenal, AL
Work Hours: 0900–1530
Overview:
We are seeking experienced Military Operations Analysts to support the 1st Space Brigade, USASMDC with operations development, training, standardization, evaluation, and missile defense support. This role provides critical continuity and expertise traditionally performed by Brigade S3 officers and senior NCOs in support of United States Space Command (USSPACECOM), USSTRATCOM, and USNORTHCOM operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and manage Brigade task orders, operations orders, and fragmentary orders
- Track suspense tasks and publish timely command directives
- Compile and present operational briefings and readiness updates
- Attend command and interagency meetings, including deployment and exercise planning sessions
- Support development of inspection programs (OIP), METLs, and training guidance documents
- Assist with DRRS-S/NetUSR unit readiness reporting and accuracy validation
- Contribute to evaluation, certification, and leader development programs
- Augment Standards & Evaluations team for global Table VIII certifications
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance required
- General understanding of space support operations at the brigade level or higher
- Deep knowledge of Army training management (FM 7-0) and the FSO METL development process
- Expertise with DRRS-S and NetUSR systems
- Familiarity with SMDC’s Standards and Evaluation program
- Understanding of BMDS assets, architecture, and command/control systems
- Graduate of one or more of the following:
- Sensor Manager Qualification Course
- Sensor Manager Leader Development Course
- C2BMC Planner’s Course
- THAAD Tactician/Technician/Follow-On Courses
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Completion of Space 200 course (preferred, not required)
