We're seeking a client-focused Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-forward environment and is passionate about building lasting relationships with small business owners.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned book of business, managing client inquiries via phone, email, and text
- Process policy changes and endorsements efficiently and accurately
- Manage policy renewals and conduct proactive coverage reviews to identify gaps
- Cross-sell additional coverages based on thorough understanding of client operations and risk exposure
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and bind new coverage
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in agency systems
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on commercial insurance products including Workers Compensation, General Liability, Business Auto, Property, and specialty coverages
- Build strong relationships that turn clients into enthusiastic promoters of our agency
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of customer service or client-facing experience
- Insurance experience preferred (or strong willingness to learn)
- Current insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Exceptional communication skills - articulate, professional, and personable
- Excellent phone etiquette with ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient with technology systems and quick to learn new platforms
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
