Location: Kansas City, KS
Compensation: Base salary plus commission and bonus
Total compensation typically ranges from $95,000 to $175,000, depending on your skillset, experience, and ability to sell
About the Role
This role is all about building something from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for developing a new customer base in the restaurant and foodservice sector across the Kansas City area. There’s no existing book here, it’s on you to identify leads, open doors, and turn prospects into active customers.
You’ll need to be persistent, professional, and hungry to grow a book of business. This is a hands-on sales role where activity, consistency, and follow-up are key. You’ll have support from operations, pricing, and customer service, but the sales drive comes from you.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and pursue new restaurant and foodservice accounts
- Develop relationships with chefs, buyers, and decision-makers across the KC metro area
- Prospect daily, follow up relentlessly, and stay organized
- Track customer needs, product usage, and pricing trends
- Communicate closely with customer service, operations, and leadership to fulfill orders and ensure service
- Build your pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from intro to onboarding
- Represent the company with professionalism and follow-through
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in foodservice, protein, or perishable product sales
- Track record of hunting and winning new accounts
- Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Solid communication skills with both customers and internal teams
- Familiar with the restaurant industry and buying cycles
- Capable of managing your time, follow-ups, and customer interactions without micromanagement
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within your territory
