Job DescriptionJob Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Residential Counselor to work the overnight shift at our behavioral health residential facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, calm, and supportive environment for residents during overnight hours while ensuring facility policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure safety and well-being
  
  
• Conduct routine checks and document observations
  
  
• Respond appropriately to resident needs or crises during overnight hours
  
  
• Maintain a structured, calm environment conducive to rest
  
  
• Complete required documentation, logs, and shift reports
  
  
• Communicate important information during shift change
  
  
• Follow all safety, emergency, and behavioral health protocols
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
  
  
• Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or human services preferred
  
  
• Ability to stay alert, dependable, and professional during overnight shifts
  
  
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills

• Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
  
  

Schedule:

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  
  
• Weekdays and/or weekends available
  
  
• Consistent overnight hours
