Love helping others and want to make top pay doing it? We’ve raised the wage to $28/hour for our Premium Weekend Resident Assistants working scheduled weekends and holidays.
Work 3 out of 4 weekends per month with a higher holiday rotation, and choose from multiple locations and shifts:
Locations:
• Grand Arbor
• Nelson Gables
• Autumn Cottages
• Nelson Care Center (CNA required)
Shifts Available:
• Days – 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Evenings – 2:30 to 11 p.m.
• Overnights – 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Pick up additional shifts at your base wage range of $17.40/hr. to $23.65/hr.
As a Resident Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our community, providing hands-on support to residents while fostering meaningful connections. Whether assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, or simply being a friendly face, you’ll play a key role in helping residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship.
As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will:
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

- A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living).
- Ability to pass a state-required background study.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
