We are seeking highly motivated entry-level writers (juniors/seniors in college or recent graduates) to join our Proposal and Capture team. This role is designed as a part-time position with a 90-day probationary period. Following successful completion of probation, there is potential to transition to full-time employment. Candidates must be local to the Oklahoma City office and available for in-person work. Please submit 2 writing samples of your past work for review.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of written content for federal proposals, including technical, management, and past performance sections.
- Assist in reviewing solicitation requirements and tracking compliance.
- Help create proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and editing checklists.
- Work with senior writers and subject matter experts to refine and improve drafts.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and review cycles.
- Conduct light research to strengthen proposal narratives and supporting materials.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Coursework or background in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
- Ability to translate ideas into clear, well-structured, and persuasive writing.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with an interest in learning federal proposal processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous experience with research, editing, or professional/academic writing projects.
- Familiarity with government contracting, proposals, or technical writing.
Education
Junior/senior undergraduate standing or recent graduate in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
