Job DescriptionSpecial Education Teacher – Grades 1–3Self-Contained Classroom

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Minnesota school district to hire a Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom serving students in grades 1–3. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a compassionate educator who is passionate about fostering both academic and social-emotional growth in young learners with diverse learning needs.

In this role, you’ll create a structured, engaging classroom environment designed to support students who benefit from individualized instruction. You will:

• Provide direct instruction across academic, behavioral, and functional domains.
  
• Foster a classroom culture that promotes independence, respect, and confidence.
  
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and data-driven decision-making to guide interventions.
  
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure consistent and supportive learning experiences.
  
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each student’s unique learning goals.

Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Prior experience in a self-contained or specialized classroom is preferred.
