We are seeking a reliable, independent Sweeper Truck Driver for a consistent night-shift position. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of commercial parking lots using a specialized one-ton, dual-rear-wheel, cab-over-style sweeper truck.

Shift Details & Compensation

• Schedule: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (8-hour shifts).
• Days: 5 days per week (includes weekends and some holidays).
• Environment: Solo night-shift work requiring high levels of autonomy and focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Sweeping: Competently operate an automatic shift, cab-over sweeper truck to clear debris from commercial parking areas.
• Detailing: Perform light to moderate physical work, including using a backpack blower to move debris from corners, curbs, and sidewalks into the truck’s path.
• Vehicle Care: Conduct daily inspections of the one-ton dual-wheel unit to ensure vacuum systems and brushes are functioning correctly.
• Route Management: Follow a designated route efficiently to ensure all assigned properties are cleaned within the shift window.
• Waste Disposal: Safely empty the hopper at designated sites at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• Night Owl Mentality: Must be fully comfortable and alert during 9 PM – 5 AM hours.
• Driving Proficiency: Ability to maneuver a dual-rear-wheel truck in tight parking lot environments.
• Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to perform moderate physical tasks (lifting, bending, and carrying a blower) in various weather conditions.
• Reliability: "Serious applicants only"—we need someone who treats the schedule and the equipment with respect.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience with cab-over vehicles or heavy equipment is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation to the dispatch location.
