Job DescriptionAbout the Role
A national healthcare membership organization is seeking a Grassroots Advocacy & PAC Coordinator to support its public policy and advocacy initiatives. This role will help manage political action committee (PAC) operations, fundraising efforts, advocacy campaigns, member engagement initiatives, and large-scale policy events.The ideal candidate is highly organized, politically savvy, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. This person will work closely with leadership, consultants, volunteers, and cross functional teams to help strengthen advocacy outreach and fundraising efforts nationwide.Key Responsibilities
- Support fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship initiatives for the organization’s PAC
- Coordinate PAC communications including newsletters, educational materials, presentations, and outreach campaigns
- Maintain PAC records, databases, and reporting processes utilizing internal systems and technology platforms
- Plan and execute advocacy related meetings, conferences, summits, and fundraising events
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to increase awareness and engagement around advocacy initiatives
- Assist with grassroots advocacy efforts by growing and mobilizing member and stakeholder engagement nationwide
- Develop presentations, reports, and materials for leadership, volunteers, and board members
- Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and internal departments to support advocacy strategies and event logistics
- Build and maintain relationships with volunteers, physician leaders, external stakeholders, and advocacy partners
- Support project management initiatives and continuously improve planning processes for advocacy events and campaigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in political science, public policy, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in government relations, PAC management, advocacy, fundraising, nonprofit relations, or related experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing presentations, correspondence, reports, and advocacy materials
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline driven environment
- Knowledge of PAC compliance, legislative processes, or advocacy initiatives is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems
Fulltime. Hybrid$75,000-$81,000 + Excellent Benefits
