Compensation: Up to $180,000 base salary
Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a well-established, industry-leading construction organization to identify a Construction Manager to oversee major site operations in Fargo. About the Opportunity
The Construction Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners while leading a multidisciplinary construction team. This person owns the execution of projects from scheduling and budgeting to site logistics, quality control, and financial performance. Success requires close collaboration with internal support groups including estimating, preconstruction, BIM/VDC, accounting, procurement, safety, quality, commissioning, and fabrication teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and hold the construction team accountable for safety, quality, and profitability

Act as the primary liaison for clients and partners throughout project execution

Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, BIM/VDC, procurement, accounting, safety, and commissioning teams

Set and uphold safety as the top priority and core value

Oversee and document quality control requirements to ensure successful commissioning

Develop, track, and maintain project schedules alongside superintendents and project managers

Work with the project controller to ensure timely invoice processing and billing preparation

Manage GMP tracking, forecasting, and margin analysis

Oversee fabrication schedules and deliveries with the superintendent and fabrication manager

Interpret and execute contract requirements, GMP structures, and plans/specs

Monitor productivity and weekly cash flow in partnership with the project controller

Conduct weekly project reviews with senior leadership (Project Executive, CFO, CEO, VP of Operations, Construction GM)

Utilize advanced scheduling systems (P6, Earned Value Management, Last Planner System)

Lead all jobsite operations and site logistics

Understand procurement and logistics while partnering with PMs on material and equipment tracking

Review change orders with estimating and project management teams

Conduct regular check-ins with team members across admin, field leadership, fabrication, plumbing, sheet metal, piping, labor coordination, subcontractors, QC, commissioning, BIM/VDC, and procurement
Qualifications

Proven experience leading construction teams on complex projects

Strong financial acumen, with experience in GMP tracking, forecasting, and cash flow management

Proficiency with advanced scheduling tools (Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Last Planner System)

Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and coordinate with multiple subcontractors
