Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time position is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy services within K-12 educational settings. This role supports students virtually in the Virginia Beach area, providing telepractice evaluations and therapy sessions in Spanish. The assignment is on an as-needed (PRN) basis, typically involving two to three evaluations per week, running through mid-June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Spanish-language speech and language evaluations virtually for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Deliver teletherapy treatment sessions focused on individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff to provide progress updates and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state licensure standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure required.
- Proficiency in Spanish is essential to meet bilingual evaluation and therapy demands.
- Experience in telepractice or telespeech/teletherapy within school-aged populations preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage part-time, on-call assignments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support virtual caseload management.

Duration:Contract through the current school year ending mid-June, with a start date as soon as possible.
