Condustrial Inc is now hiring a warehouse associate/forklift operator to join our team in Saluda, SC.
Hours: Day Shift (6a-6p)
Night Shift (6p-6am)
**expect overtime**
Pay: $15-$15.50
The prime function of the Warehouse Associate is to provide support to the supply chain though safely collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products. Certified or experienced forklift driver that we will certify. Material handling, warehouse duties, including cleaning and sweeping.
Job Duties:
- Maintain production and inventory reports using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system, scanners or by manual entries.
- Prepare documentation for contracts, transactions, or regulatory compliance.
- Manually Unload materials or equipment.
- Read work orders to determine material or setup requirements.
- Inspect items for damage or defects.
- Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.
- Remove debris or damaged materials.
- Operate forklifts or other loaders.
- Receives and unload incoming material AND pick & pack outgoing materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notifies warehouse manager and/or purchasing personnel.
- Sort, count, package, label, verify count, unpack, and/or log inventory which is shipped or received.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and all safety regulations.
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Conduct physical cycle counts on inventory and equipment, as required.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
- Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts.
- One year of warehouse processes, receiving, and material storage using an ERP system is preferred.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Problems solving skills.
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Proficient in mathematics
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently during shift.
- Bending, stooping, standing, walking and climbing throughout the shift
