A RAPIDLY growing construction GC with locations in Florida and Utah is looking to add a seasoned Project Manager to their growing team in Utah. Their projects consist of ground-up multifamily projects in the 100-200 unit size.
This candidate must have experience with managing buyouts, sub-contract negotiations, and pay apps with multifamily projects.

Job Details:
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Construction Project Manager with a solid background in multifamily projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to coordination and execution, ensuring that all works are completed on time and within budget. You will be interfacing with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, making a strong ability to communicate and maintain relationships a must. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise multifamily construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and interpret detailed project plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Oversee and direct construction tasks and project progress, ensuring the project's alignment with design and compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct cost estimation and purchasing for all necessary resources and materials.
- Manage buyouts and subcontract negotiations, ensuring the best quality at the most cost-effective rates.
- Prepare and submit pay applications, change orders, and other financial documents.
- Develop and maintain a master schedule for all project activities.
- Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
- Resolve any issues or delays that might affect the project timeline or budget.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and manage all project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience in estimating and purchasing, contract negotiation, and managing buyouts and subcontract negotiations.
- Proven experience in managing mixed-use projects.
- Proficient in project management software, MS Office, and design software.
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
