Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An urgent opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with extensive high-volume retail experience. This contract role is based in the Jacksonville area and offers an immediate start, spanning approximately eight weeks with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, including high-volume data entry and dispensing.
• Maintain a fast and accurate pace to meet the demands of a busy retail environment.
• Deliver high levels of patient care and support with clear communication.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and pharmacy providers.
• Exhibit pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing pharmacy workflow needs.
• Utilize QS1 software efficiently for daily pharmacy operations.
• Demonstrate a dependable and positive work ethic with punctual attendance.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years recent experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting.
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Strong communication skills with patients, providers, and the pharmacy team.
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred; please ensure this experience is noted on the resume.
• Being proactive and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Software savvy, especially with QS1 systems.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
