• Day Shift | 3 × 12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

• Night Shift | 3 × 12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  Schedule: Day/Night rotation
  Location: Rochester, NY

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Adult ER) to join a fast-paced emergency department. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage high-acuity patients, and experience delivering emergency care to diverse adult populations.

Scheduling & Work Expectations

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday, as needed

• Time-off requests must be submitted at time of submission

• First-time travelers accepted

• Local candidates not accepted within a 75-mile radius (RN only)

Charting System

• EPIC experience required

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY is non-compact)

• BLS

• ACLS

• NIHSS

Required Clinical Skills

• IV therapy (blood products, central line care, phlebotomy, IV initiation/maintenance)

• IV vasopressors

• CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management

• Stroke and neuro-trauma care (CVA, TBI, spinal cord injury)

• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

• Adult and pediatric emergency care

• Trauma care (gunshot wounds, orthopedic trauma)

• Triage and isolation precautions
