Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This part-time, contract position offers a unique schedule—on-site just the first Friday of each month from 9am to 1pm—making it a perfect fit for professionals seeking an impactful but flexible opportunity. You will work closely with elementary students, overseeing a small caseload of approximately five children, providing targeted support to help them thrive in their school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in Indiana
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with young children, parents, and educators
  • Ability to work independently and manage a focused caseload
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs collaboratively with school staff
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services focused on enhancing students’ function and participation in school activities
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation in line with school and professional standards
  • Provide consultative guidance to teachers and families to ensure consistent support across settings
