Veterinary Technician at Wave Veterinary Medical Center
Position: Veterinary Technician
Location: Wave Veterinary Medical Center
Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team! If you are passionate about veterinary medicine, skilled in handling medical procedures, and have a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency blood draws with precision and care
- Place and maintain intravenous catheters
- Administer medications as prescribed, following proper procedures and dosages
- Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures
- Maintain and update patient medical records accurately
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Provide excellent care and support to both animals and their owners
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment for both patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, medication administration, and medical record management
- Ability to place catheters and draw blood with proficiency
- Compassionate and attentive care for all animals
- Familiarity with veterinary medical equipment and technology
- A Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
