POSITION SUMMARY:
The Compliance Analyst supports the Company by fulfilling its corporate requirements regarding licensing and reporting to state and/or federal departments. This position is responsible for effective and efficient research and analysis, preparation of and accurate documentation for all licensing related matters for all entities within the holding company system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with producers, program partners and vendor(s) regarding the producer appointment system and process. Maintain working knowledge of the system to answer questions and solve problems without vendor involvement.
- Prepare and file informational reports with State departments, as needed
- Assist in preparing and filing of NAIC applications
- Assist in preparing and filing new and renewal license applications
- Manage relationship with licensing vendor
- Perform other activities, duties and assignments as needed or requested
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- 2-3 years of insurance compliance preferred
- Must be organized and able to work under time constraints and deadlines
- Must be able to make decisions, solve problems, and respond to inquiries with limited supervision
- Good verbal and written communications skills are imperative
- Computer and data entry experience is necessary
- Attention to detail for accuracy and completeness is necessary
- Must be able to work well with people and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Must be able to work with multiple priorities, and communicate status of progress effectively
- Prior experience in Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint
