We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Montgomery, Alabama. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial data and support accounts receivable tasks. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research and consolidate financial data from various sources into Excel spreadsheets.

• Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date records.

• Provide support to accounts receivable processes, including billing and invoicing.

• Utilize QuickBooks and other financial tools to manage accounting tasks effectively.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of data during system updates.

• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial operations.

• Assist in organizing and analyzing financial information for reporting purposes.

• Apply intermediate Excel skills to create, manage, and interpret financial reports.

• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department by supporting daily operations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Strong ability to perform accurate data entry and manage large sets of information.
• Excellent research skills and ability to consolidate data effectively.
• Positive and detail-oriented attitude, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
