Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Job DescriptionSalary:

Hunt Electric is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Production Supervisor position in our Salt Lake office in our ICC manufacturing division.

The Production Supervisor will lead a skilled assembly team specializing in electrical control panel fabrication. The ideal candidate blends hands-on panel-building knowledge with strong leadership and operational oversight abilities.

Major Duties:

• Supervise daily operations of control panel assembly with direct supervision of workforce including attendance tracking, interviewing, corrective actions, developmental coaching, training, and team building.
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings, safety standards, and quality control processes.
• Monitor production metrics including throughout, quality yield, and timelines.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and coordinate with engineers for resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as job trackers, safety records, inspection results.
• Enforce and promote workplace safety and lean methodologies.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a Can-Do positive attitude.
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent technical certification preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Proven experience in electrical control panel assembly, including layout, wiring, soldering, and testing.
• Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, NFPA, NECA).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate ability to drive KPI improvements.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma credentials (e.g., Green Belt). 5s continuous improvement methodologies.
• Prior experience supervising union or multi-shift teams.
• Experience working with an ERP system preferred.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 standards preferred.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 6:00am 4:40pm.
