Job Description
A1 Placement is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN physician to join a dedicated Federally Qualified Healthcare (FQHC) team. Clinics are located in the Los Angeles Metro Area; South Central Los Angeles, South Gate, and Wilmington serving a diverse patient population with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care. The ideal candidate must have active hospital privileges and be licensed with the California Medical Board.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- California Medical License (Required)
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Completion of OB-GYN Residency Training
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- BLS and ACLS Certification
- Must Have Hospital Privileges
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care.
- Conduct routine gynecological exams, screenings, and preventative care.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions.
- Perform gynecologic and obstetric procedures as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds and lab work.
- Counsel patients on family planning, reproductive health, and wellness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Respond to emergency obstetric and gynecologic situations as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with medical regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Ability to commute/rotate between facilities, including mobile units.
- Able to see a minimum of 20-22 patients.
- Work Saturdays as needed.
- Able to use EMR systems.
Job Types:
- Full-time, Part-time
Weekly schedule:
- Monday to Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)
- Saturday (8:30am-2:00pm)
