Special Education Teacher – Aurora Public Schools | $49–$61/hr | 2026–2027 School Year
Aurora Public Schools is actively preparing for the upcoming school year and is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for full-time contract roles. These are high-impact positions supporting students across K–12, and interviews are being scheduled now.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
-Provide direct instruction and behavioral and academic support
-Modify curriculum to support diverse learners
-Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
-Track student progress and maintain compliance documentation
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
-Active or eligible Colorado Special Education License
-School-based experience preferred, but not required
Compensation and Details:
-Pay: $49–$61 per hour (based on experience)
-Schedule: Full-time
-Contract Dates: 8/6/2026 – 5/26/2027
