We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our concierge internal medicine practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering high-touch, personalized patient care in a premium healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide a warm, professional concierge-level experience
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures
- Perform and document electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Prepare charts and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with e-prescribing and medication reconciliation
- Demonstrate working knowledge of medical terminology and medications
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and staff
- Answer phones, manage messages, and support scheduling needs
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Work collaboratively with providers and staff — must be a team player
- Support office workflow and assist with administrative duties as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and common medications
- Experience performing electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Familiarity with e-prescribing systems
- Strong typing skills with accuracy and efficiency
- Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
- Professional, polished demeanor suited for a concierge medical setting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in internal medicine or concierge medicine
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA preferred)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
