Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
- $18.50 base pay + $1.50 shift differentia;
Shift:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday–Thursday
- Training Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Thursday
Location: Ocala, FL (34472)
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Job Summary
We are seeking General Laborers to support production operations at our Ocala facility. This role involves hands-on work sorting used oil filters on a conveyor belt and assisting with material movement throughout the site. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing physical work in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Sort used oil filters as they move along a conveyor belt
- Work at a designated station while standing for the duration of the shift
- Operate a forklift to transport drums or containers of filters or trash (as needed)
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to perform physical labor and stand for extended periods
- General labor or production experience
- Willingness to work in a dirty, industrial environment
Preferred:
- Forklift operation experience
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial background
Work Environment
- Production Area: Indoor, open-air setting; exposure to oil and used filters
- Forklift Duties: Outdoor work; must be comfortable in varying weather conditions
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
