Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Training Manager will be a key player in our continuous improvement strategy, responsible
for developing, implementing, and managing the training program for our team. This role focuses
on supporting subject matter experts in delivering best-in-class and on-floor training to ensure our
workforce is skilled, certified, and equipped to meet the high standards of engine MRO Services.Key Responsibilities:
• Overhaul the current Training Program: Develop the repair station employee training
program required under 14 CFR part 145, § 145.163, categories of training, training
program components, and sample training programs.
• Develop & Implement Training Programs: Design and manage comprehensive training
programs for aircraft maintenance, including airframe, engine, and avionics
troubleshooting, familiarization courses, and develop syllabus for other topics
• Facilitate Training Sessions: Lead training sessions, including “train the trainer” programs,
to enhance internal learning capabilities.
• Skills Assessment & Gap Analysis: Conduct individual and team skills assessments,
identify gaps, and prioritize learning needs.
• Create Training Matrices: Establish training requirements and matrices for various roles,
ensuring consistent competency development.
• Manage Training Records: Implement a tracking system for all training activities,
maintaining compliance and accurate documentation.
• Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Gather feedback from participants and assess training
outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with business leaders to align training initiatives with
organizational goals and operational needs.
• Leverage External Vendors: Identify and engage strong external training vendors to
supplement in-house programs when necessary.
• Apply Industry Best Practices: Utilize proven methodologies in learning and instructional
design to create impactful training experiences.Qualifications:
• Bilingual Spanish - English Mandatory
• Bachelors Degree in Business or Aviation preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
Outlook)
• Formal Organizational Leadership training background (academic or on-the-job)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Adult Learning, or a related field
preferred.
• Experience in enterprise-wide training initiatives and systems thinking.
• Proven experience in Learning & Development and instructional design, with a strong track
record of leading complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and
collaborate at all levels.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to execute training
programs from concept to completion.
