Civil/Environmental Engineer Full-Time Role
Location: Skagit, Island, Whatcom, and North Snohomish Counties, WA

Pay: $27.50$40/hr (Depending on Experience) + Overtime
Are you a recent grad ready to kick off your engineering career? Or maybe you're an EIT with a few years under your belt, looking for a place to grow into a licensed Professional Engineer? Join proHNS LLC and help us build something great from the ground up. Youll work directly with a Principal Engineer & Owner to help launch our new branch office in Skagit County, and yes, youll be part of the founding team!
What Youll Do
- Site development & environmental permitting
- Water & sewer utilities
- Street & pedestrian facilities
- Hydrology & hydraulic modeling
- Culvert design & stream bank stabilization
- Construction inspection & contract admin support
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, planners, and clients to bring projects from concept to completion
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineering (ABET accredited)
- EIT certification (or ability to obtain within a year)
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, EPANET, HEC-RAS, and MS Office
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
- Valid U.S. drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable visiting job sites and working outdoors
- Familiarity with WSDOT LAG Manual and local codes (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
