Instructional Aide Subs Needed Flexible School-Based Opportunities in Yuba City, CA
A rewarding per diem position is available for compassionate Instructional Aides to support students 1:1 in classroom settings. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact on students academic, behavioral, and social development within structured school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group academic, behavioral, and social support as directed by teachers and school staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
- Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
- Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements (School Compliance):
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- TB test clearance per district requirements
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Previous support for students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT certification or experience (not required)
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
