Job Title: Pharmacist (Potential Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Onsite – West Valley City, UT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM (Schedule may adjust slightly starting in April)
Job Type: 11 months Contract with potential for permanent hire
About the Role:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing. In this role, you’ll work closely with pharmacy technicians, healthcare professionals, and patients to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a collaborative onsite environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and safety
- Dispense medications, including compounding, packaging, and labeling
- Monitor medication therapies and recommend appropriate interventions
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
- Verify order entries, medication preparation, and labeling
- Counsel patients on proper medication use and drug therapies
- Provide pharmacological guidance to healthcare professionals
- Participate in health screenings, immunizations, and clinical programs as applicable
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Maintain accurate records for controlled substances
- Support a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy environment
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
What We’re Looking For:
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted Utah Pharmacist license (required)
- 0–2 years of pharmacist experience (new grads encouraged to apply)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
