Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Our Organization

Location: 12244 W Broad St, Henrico, VA 23233

Schedule:

  • Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Bi-weekly hourly compensation with the option for Daily Pay to access earnings as they are accrued.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (if required).
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care for overall dental health.
  • Clinical requirements as needed by the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodations. Adjustments may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling the essential functions of the role.
  • Extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with any necessary guidance or paperwork provided. This does not apply in the states of FL & TN.
